Our motorcycle ride from north to south Thailand offers stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and diverse experiences. From mountains to stunning beachs. Starting in the mountainous regions of Chiang Mai, riders can enjoy winding roads, lush jungles, and rich local traditions. As you head south, regions like Sukhothai, Kanchanaburi and Hua Hon that reveal historical sites, while the landscapes transform into rolling hills and rice paddies. Approaching the southern islands, the route culminates in beautiful beaches like those in Krabi and Koh Lanta, where you can unwind amidst crystal-clear waters and vibrant nightlife. This journey combines adventure, relaxation, and a deep dive into the heart of Thailand’s heritage.

DEPARTURE AND RETURN: Chiang Mai, Thailand. Tour starts at 08:00 AM the day after the arrival day. The tour will finish in Koh Samui after breakfast the day after the ride.

Tour dates Southern Thailand Tour
16 February to 04 March 2027
Day 1. Arrival in Chiang Mai
We meet at the hotel at 14:00 (2 PM) for a tour briefing and then go and pick up the bikes. We spend the evening packing the bikes and having dinner.
Day 2. Chiang Mai – Chai Nat (521 km)
This day will be a transport leg down to Chai Nat but on big fine roads we can keep a good speed and there is not much traffic either. We arrive at the resort we will be staying at around noon and relax after a long day on the road. (Here we can divide the route into 2 driving days if you want and have an overnight stay in Sukhothai, but we will agree on that)
Day 3. Chai Nat to Sai Yok National Park (301 km)
Now it’s starting to get a little more pleasant roads. We drive through Chaloem Ratanakosin National Park and down towards Sinakharin Dam on nice winding motorcycle roads. Here we also have to take a ferry across to Erawan National Park. We also
make a stop at Erawan Waterfall. Arrive at the floating hotel we’ll be staying at noon. Enjoy dinner in the evening. Maybe we’ll be lucky and get to go elephant bathing in the morning.
Day 4. Sai Yok to Kanchanaburi (200 km)
This day will be a short day in kilometers but a lot to see and do today. We visit Krasae Cave, Hellfire Pass, Erawan Waterfall or Pha Tat Waterfall and also the River Kwai War Cemetery. Before we go to the hotel, we visit the “Bridge over the River Kwai” and the museum. In the evening, we can rent a “private lecter boat” that takes us around the canals. Here, we can pre-book drinks and food. Or we can just relax and go out and have a dinner at the hotel.
Day 5: Kanchanaburi to Hua Hin (340 km)
There will be a lot of nice small roads today towards Hua Hin. We stop and take some pictures of “Monkey Pod Tree”. Further on nice roads down to the lake at Samnak Maiteng where we have lunch. Then there will be visiting Keang Krachan Dam with a photo stop and refreshments. Then on into Hua Hin to a cozy hotel located in a little lively street. We explore Hua Hin in the evening.
Day 6. Rest day in Hua Hin
Here you can spend the day on whatever you want. Take a breather or just relax on the beach. We can also set up a small day trip in the surrounding area.
Day 7. Hua Hin to Chumphon (308 km)
This day will be along the coast via Baan Krud, Bo Mao and Tungwualaen beach. We will drive through many small fishing villages and we will visit some fun stops along the route such as Khlong Wan fishing pier, Dead end road and Kao Dinsor
Viewpoint. Arrive at our resort in Chumphon by the sea at noon and enjoy a cold one with the sunset.
Day 8. Chumphon to Khao Sok National Park (339 km)
Today we drive down to Kao Sok National Park via Kra Buri, Ranong which is located at the Myanmar border. After Ranong we drive on lovely motorbike roads through Suk Samran and Bang Na Si before we arrive at the Kao Sok National Park resort. Here we stay in the jungle in huts up in the trees. Here you have to be careful that you don’t have anything lying around outside the bungalow because then you will be stolen by monkeys. Enjoy ourselves at the resort with a good dinner in the evening
Day 9. Khao Sok to Ao Nang Beach, Krabi (223 km)
We start the day by driving to Rajjaprabha Dam and exploring this beutiful area. Then we ride to Phang Nha district. Here the formations are quite different than anywhere else in the world. We make a few stops along the way at coffee shops and view points before arriving in Ao Nang where we will stay for 2 days.
Day 10. Rest day in Krabi
Today day we spend the day exploring the islands around Ao Nang in Krabi. We rent a Long Tail Boat and spend a whole day at sea. We visit Kho Pada, Chicken Island, Tup Island and Phranag Cave Beach and more places. It will be a great day without a
bike. Remember your sunscreen.
Day 11: Ao Nang Beach to Kho Lanta (120 km)
It will be a short and nice riding day today. Some stops on the way like Saline Hot Spring, so have your swimming trunks ready. A lunch and some coffee stops before we arrive at Kho Lanta where we will stay for 2 days. We open a cold one and watch the sunset on the beach.
Day 12: Rest day at Koh Lanta
Today is a real rest day where you can spend the day at the beach or do noumerous of activities or sights.
Day 13: koh Lanta to Pak Bara Beach (232 km)
We start the day with taking the ferry to the mainland, then to Hat Chao Mai National Park and we have lunch at Chao Mai Beach. Then on to Kantang Hot Spring Forest Park. Remember to bring your swimming trunks again. The last part will be to the Pak Bara Beach resort. Enjoying ourselves here with a cold one at sunset and dinner on the beach in the evening
Day 14: Pak Bara Beach to Nakhono Sri Thammarat (355 km)
After a good breakfast we get on the bikes again and drive towards Satun and Hai Yai where we make a stop at the Khlong Hae Floating Market. You will also notice the last days that we have arrived in to the Muslim part of Thailand and there will be
a lot more mosques around. After the floating market we drive along the coast up towards Nakhon Si Thammarat where we enter a resort right by the Gulf of Siam. We enjoy ourselves with a dinner at the resort.
Day 14: Nakhon Sri Thammarat to Koh Samui (120 km)
Today we will have yet a short ride to the ferry pier in Don Sak to take the ferry across to Koh Samui. The ferry ride is about 1 and a half to 2 hours. We arrive at the hotel early so we can enjoy ourselves by jumping in the sea and having a cold one. We explore the night-life on Koh Samui in the evening.
Day 14: Rest day Koh Samui
The day can be spent on whatever you please. We offer further exploring the island, so we can arrange a round trip around the island for those who want.
Day 14: Return Home
Tour ends after breakfast, so you can stay in koh Samui or continue your journey home.
